Deepika Padukone will be starring with Rajinikanth in the animated movie
'Kochadaiiyaan'. But, we won’t be able to hear her voice in the film.
It
is learnt that since Deepika is not familiar with Tamil; her voice in
the Southern version of the film is dubbed by voiceover artist Savitha
Reddy. Soundarya, Rajinikanth's daughter, who has directed
‘Kochadaiiyaan’, said, "Savitha was the perfect choice as Deepika's
Tamil voice. Her character has to ooze grace and elegance, along with
dramatic prowess and zest, Savitha is a perfect performer to balance
both."
But, now it is learnt that Deepika's voice won’t be heard
in the Hindi version of the film as well. Dubbing artist, Mona Ghosh
Shetty, has given voice for Deepika’s character in the Hindi version.
Previously, Mona has dubbed for Deepika in 'Om Shanti Om'.
The real reason behind this is not yet revealed, but we have heard that, the actress is too busy to dub for the film.
